The RobotFX Auto Recovery has been slightly modified to better (we hope) manage hedging baskets. There won’t be an explanatory video, so please pay attention to the pictures below to understand the changes.
In the older version (see pic above), an opened trade and a pending order of the same kind would have been possible at the same time, while no other opposite order – opened or pending – would exist.
In the last version, this is no longer possible and the pending order (in the above example buy stop 0.02) will be deleted, allowing only the opened buy trade. The EA will continue to hedge normally, placing the opposite sell order when given the chance (ie above the sell level – pending sell, below the sell level – sell)
Of course, the Slippage and the spread should be taken into consideration.
Another situation possible in the previous version and eliminated in the new version is when the EA would allow two opposite pending orders at the same time (see second pic). In the newest version, as soon as the pending sell is placed (0.02), the opposite pending order (buy stop 0.02) will be deleted.
This way if the price would resume up, it will basically continue with the initial trade and nothing would have changed. On the other hand, if it would drop again, it will trigger the hedge pending order just as it did before.
This is it about the Auto Recovery and please do mind that the Fluid EA and NonLagMA EA have also been updated, because they both include the Auto Recovery as a hedging option.
